Hi there, and thank you for dropping by! We're so glad you're here. My name is Barby Zurn and I am the Founder of Skinzi Cosmetics. My love affair with matte lipsticks started when I was in my teens. I remember buying my first bullet matte lipstick in high school and blotting it with tissue paper for a super matte effect. Unfortunately, I suffer from dry lips. After trying various matte liquid lipsticks on the market, I was disappointed to discover how tight and flaky they were as they dried on my lips. At that point, I knew that after a long, fulfilling career as a Quality Engineer, it was time to focus on my other passion: cosmetics. I've always loved makeup and continued to embrace it my entire adult life. I just haven't found a matte liquid lippie that satisfied all of my must-haves. With my background in Quality Assurance, I started looking for opportunities to improve the unforgiving liquid matte formulas that I'd tried in the past. Working with a team of skilled chemists at our ISO/GMP-certified laboratory, we set out to solve the recurring issue I faced with liquid matte lipsticks. After almost a year of testing and retesting, we are proud to share the result of our hard work - our custom Skinzi matte formula is highly pigmented yet non-drying. Best of all, it met all my requirements for the ideal liquid matte lipstick. It's non-toxic, paraben free, gluten free, cruelty free, has no phthalates and sulfates, vegan - friendly and infused with Vitamin E at a price that won't break the bank. It's also made in the USA at our FDA approved laboratory. Today, one of our greatest joys is knowing we can make your life a little bit better with our products.
